RAILIFT™
Maxon introduced the first rail-style lift gate to the U.S. in the 1970s, and the Railift™ Series continues to set the standard for performance and reliability. CONVENTIONAL
As the earliest and most proven lift gate design, conventional lift gates set the foundation for modern lifting solutions. Positioned flush with the rear door—or functioning as the door itself—they deliver exceptional platform size and stability, making them ideal for efficiently transporting large or oversized cargo.

Maxon pioneered the Tuk-A-Way® lift gate, featuring a foldable platform that conveniently stows beneath the truck body, keeping it dock-ready at all times. Today, the Tuk-A-Way® Series includes a wide selection of steel and aluminum platforms in multiple sizes and bed height configurations to suit diverse applications.
CHARGING SOLUTIONS
Many Class 8 tractors come equipped with battery banks far larger than standard lift gate systems, making them an excellent source of supplemental power. Maxon provides reliable auxiliary battery charging, allowing the lift gate, when connected to a trailer, to draw power through a charging cable, commonly called a stinger cord, with either a single or dual pole socket, ensuring consistent charging and operation.
